God Ball serves as a tangible reminder that God is always there and wants to be part of your daily life. God Ball helps us remember we are not alone. 

God Ball can remind you to have fun, relax, get going on those projects, and be the best you can be. Whether he is sitting on the desk cheering you on, helping with homework, assisting with class demonstrations, hearing about your day as you drift off to sleep, or enjoying a ride on a swing, the God Ball can be one of your favorite snugly companions. God ball wants to learn and experience everything, and he wants you to teach him.

Many people have reported that the God Ball has a happy, soothing energy that helps them in many ways. We all know about the Jagged Rocks of Reality, and they are no fun at all. The God Ball wants to help. This little bundle of yarn and fluff is just brimming with dedication and support for you. All you have to do is befriend him. This makes the God Ball the most vitally important and useful knitted ball—ever!

In the beginning…

The God Ball was first created one evening in 2004. Anonymous Hermit taught herself to knit in the absence of all friendship. She studied and practiced and created a knitted ball. As the clumsy finished product lay on her desk, she thought that if people could just see God, they would not feel alone. Why not make something they could see to remind them of the love, energy, and support around them? To that end, she decided to sew a face on that knitted ball. She realized that since God is the source of all things in the universe, the materials in the God Ball contain His energy. Thus, the God Ball was manifested—a microcosm of the universe! And you know what conclusion this rock-solid logic leads to: There’s no excuse not to give God a hug everyday!
